I’m Tracy, I own a T-shirt that says "I'm not going if I can't bring my camera". Holding a camera, anywhere, is my happy place. I was a frustrated artist for decades, moving from charcoal to pastels, to watercolor and oils, I never felt at home with any medium – until the day I picked up a camera and by accident, created an image that would change everything for me. I had no idea how to replicate its beauty, but it started me on the relentless pursuit to learn how to, culminating with the donation of all my art supplies a couple of years later; I had found my creative home.
Fast forward 10 years and I'm now a Master of Photography , Photographic Craftsman, and a Certified Professional Photographer.
How would you describe me? I’m an escapee from the corporate world, retiring from an international sales career at the end of 2013, and am now a Dallas - Fort Worth family, high school senior, pet, and headshot photographer.
All my kids have four legs, the current headcount is three dogs but it tends to change quite often, I’m a shelter and rescue volunteer, horse-crazy girl, Africa is my favorite place on the planet, can sleep anywhere (and often do), love a good romantic comedy and am a voracious reader of just about everything, but especially books about animals. And mountain climbing. Don't know where that last one comes from, but I'm obsessed.
I believe in love at first sight because I fall in love with every animal I meet. Except spiders. I don’t love spiders.
