Tracey Hagen is an award-winning Miami-based photographer who has been in business for 18 years. She is a native of Miami Beach, where her family has lived for almost a century. Her parents gave her a camera when she was seven, igniting her fascination with photography and her desire to explore the world, observe life and develop her own unique style. As a teenager, she was further inspired by the unique opportunity of assisting her father, a dentist—photographing each of his clients with a Polaroid camera and developing dental X-rays in the darkroom in his office.

Hagen specializes in glamorous portraits that empower women to bring out their personalities and the essence of who they are and also to have fun in the experience.  She has studied digital photography at Miami Ad School, in Wynwood, Miami, and has been awarded juried studio residencies at the South Florida Art Center (now Oolite Arts) as well as the Bakehouse Art Complex in Wynwood. She’s exhibited her photographs in various exhibitions, including Aqua Art Fair at Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Wynwood, and at several charities that are close to her heart.

Hagen’s work has been featured on the NBC 6 Morning Show, South Florida, The Miami New Times, Hola Amigos, Photographer Forum Magazine, Art Slant, El Nuevo Herald, Ego Miami Magazine, Wire Magazine, Daily Candy and The San Fransisco Chronicle. She has photographed celebrities, including Chef Emeril Lagasse and Myra Wexler, The Queen of Wynwood.

When she isn’t working, Hagen enjoys shooting street photography and spending time with her husband, son, two rescue dogs, Daisy Mae and Duke, and two rescue cats, India and Buddha. She has a special place in her heart for rescuing animals and feels that it’s not only the best gift you can give to them but to yourself.
