My specialty is all manner of family photography. I work strictly on location or at your home. With so many breathtaking outdoor locations in Southern California, I am always finding new scenic areas as a backdrop for my families. Natural light, natural real life activities, and multi-generational groupings give me great pleasure. Don't forget your pets. I won't! They are a part of your family and need the same loving attention. After fourteen years - fifteen come 2024 next week - I am honored to have had a large group of repeat clientele. My studio is me. My assistant, editor, marketing specialist, booking manager, accountant - they are also ... me! I love all of the processes and just won't outsource. Can you walk me through your process?
Once in touch with me, I suggest you look through my website's portfolios to see if my style matches your expectations. You call me or text me and I'm in touch asap. We discuss your ideas for your photo session. Once you've accepted that I'll be your photographer, I ask for your pertinent contact information and a booking fee to hold your date. Any questions ahead of the session, I enthusiastically want to be contacted. The week of the event, I contact you again with date, time of my arrival, address and parking details to confirm. I contact you upon my arrival. I shoot. A week later you will have an assortment representation of the photos I shot; then the full gallery in 4-8 weeks depending on the type of session. These will be delivered digitally on line in high resolution on a downloadable platform. You may order prints and photo products directly from that site or I will do it for you. If you've ordered photo products, I will hand deliver them to you. If you've ordered wall displays, I will photograph your walls and allow you to preview how your room will look with them hung. I then arrange for a professional installer to hang them with perfection.
Do you offer a pre-session consultation?
Most definitely. For large events, I prefer an in person consultation and an advance visit to the site of your event. Otherwise it's by phone.
Will you help style me?
Yes, I have a digital wardrobe magazine with suggestions for the family. You can also shop and text me images of optional clothing and I will advise. If you want hair and make-up, I can arrange that for you. Most of my current clients have their own people but I do have that option if you like.
Do you have a studio?
No. And I do not plan to have a studio. But... I do have an enormous range of studio options I rent from private homes to exquisite private gardens. Los Angeles is chock full of such gems.
What is your cancellation policy?
You will pay a booking fee to hold your time and date. Unforseen circumstances do occur and I will honor your request for a postponement with that same booking fee for a one month period within reason.
