Since I was a child growing up in rural Connecticut, I've had a passion for photography. My uncle would take me on photo walks to shoot antique steam locomotives, lakes & covered bridges during the fall foliage season. With my hand-me-down Kodak Brownie camera, I learned photography from him. His camera was a 35mm Nikkormat and to this day I shoot with Nikon. Fast forward to 2011 when I started Performance Dog Photography. My love of dogs, dog sports and photography seemed a perfect match. Since then, I specialize in canine sports. I often photograph my own Golden Retrievers doing dock diving and Fast Cat. I enjoy shooting equine sports like Jumpers & Hunters and barrel racing. I also shoot nature, landscape, seascape, and aerial photography. I am a certified FAA Part 107 Remote (Drone) Pilot and have shot sailboat regattas both from my drone and my Nikon camera. I volunteer shooting adoptable dog photos for a Central Florida canine rescue organization, and I am official photographer for a community drone expo at a Tampa Bay middle school.
