I've had an interesting and vaired career. I am currently a retired Account Executive for Madeleine Crouch & Co., Inc. I served as Executive Director of Leica Society International from 2014-2024 and the National Piano Foundation from 2013-2025. My previous work experience included 30 years in the print music retail business. I was Vice President of Brook Mays Print Music from 1989 to 2006 and managed 18 print locations within Brook Mays Music Co. From 2006-2013 he was manager of Pender’s Music Co. in Dallas, TX. I have been privileged to have served on national and international boards, including the Retail Print Music Dealers Association and the National Association Music Merchants Board of Directors.
I received his B.M.E. from West Texas State University and his M.M. in piano from the University of North Texas. After 30 years, I went back to school in and received a master’s degree in liberal studies in creative writing in 2017. I am a teacher, adjudicator, and a public speaker, and am the author of a successful book, What Music Means to Me, published by Hal Leonard Corporation.
My photography shows a wide range of interests but primarily focuses on portrait photography, event photography, and personal fine art projects. I love working with and getting to know people, and I love to tell their stories.
