Hi, my name is Racquel Henry, a freelance photographer and the proud owner of Purple Hibiscus Photography. I am a mother of three beautiful children and a fur baby named Zeion Marley.

My passion for photography has taken me across two countries. I am originally from Jamaica, and storytelling through images has always been something close to my heart. I love capturing memories and preserving moments that can be cherished for a lifetime.

Before fully stepping into photography, I spent 12 years working in the medical field. After welcoming my third child and experiencing the stillness that came during COVID, I found the courage to shift gears and truly follow my passion. Photography became more than something I loved—it became my purpose.

Today, my focus is on creating meaningful images that tell stories, celebrate life, and preserve moments that will last forever.
