Mike Guinto Photography is veteran owned & operated working in the DMV area. Mike is known for his ability to blend
candid, heartfelt moments with artfully composed visuals. His style is often described as crisp, natural, and timeless,
prioritizing genuine emotion and connection over staged scenes. Mike is dedicated to creating beautiful, lasting images
that tell each client's unique story. Mike Guinto began his career by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served over 4 years active duty, most recently as Photo Chief at Headquarters Marine Corps Combat Camera. After being honorably discharged, Mike went on to study at Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned his Masters in Fine Arts in Photography & Related Media. Since graduation, he has worked as a university photographer at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, and as a Technical Photographer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center where he documents NASA's Roman Space Telescope, PACE Satellite, DAVINCI, DRAGONFLY, Artemis and OSAM-1 Missions. When he is not photographing for NASA, Mike continues his own personal artistic and professional practices, working in both digital and analog mediums.
