Photography has been my life's passion for over three decades now. As a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) through the prestigious Professional Photographers of America, I've dedicated my career to not just taking photos, but creating artistic captured moments that convey deeper meaning and emotion.

My journey began in college, where I first fell in love with the magic of film photography. The darkroom became my canvas, and each image an opportunity to paint with light. That passion has only grown deeper over the years into a full-time profession and lifelong pursuit of artistry.

Though my roots are in Colorado Springs as a native, the stunning western slope of Colorado has become my eternal muse since relocating to Montrose. The region's sweeping vistas, rugged peaks, and diverse wilderness offer an endless array of breathtaking landscapes ripe for photography.

At Michelynn M Hollister Photography, I specialize in capturing nature's splendor through my landscape, wildlife, and western-themed works. My fine art prints grace the walls of private collections, commercial spaces, and medical facilities alike – bringing the beauty of the outdoors indoors.

In addition to my landscape portfolio, I also love partnering with clients for creative portrait sessions that reflect their unique personalities. When not behind the lens, you'll likely find me outdoors hiking, backpacking, kayaking, or camping amongst the very scenery I love to immortalize in my images. The natural world is my greatest inspiration and creative wellspring.
