Hi there! I'm Michael Parks, owner and lead photographer of ParksPictures LLC. I'm based in Charlotte NC, serving the Carolinas and beyond.
I help couples and families celebrate the milestones in their lives and remind their families what's most important by displaying beautiful portraits at the center of their homes.
My photography is published in Photoshop User magazine and won TheKnot's Best of Weddings, WeddingWire's Couple's Choice Award, Expertise.com's Best Charlotte Wedding Photographer, Global Wedding Awards's Best Southeast USA Photographer, and Zola's Best awards because my pictures have an authenticity that comes from creative collaboration with my clients.

Can you walk me through your process?
I always start with a pre-session consultation, to get to know you and brainstorm together our vision for the session. From that session, I'll create a custom photography plan for the event. On the day of the event, I'll be focused on serving you and ensuring you have a great experience. The day after the event, I'll send you a couple quick images. 1-2 weeks after the event, I'll send you the edited images in an online gallery. You have the right to download all the images. You may also choose to purchase printed photography items from me.
Do you offer a pre-session consultation?
Absolutely - it's a great way for us to get to know each other before the event.
Will you help style me?
Yes, I'll help you craft a style that brings out the best for you and any others at the event.
Do you have a studio?
I have a studio, and also rent studio space when needed by my clients.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once we agree upon a photography service, a non-refundable deposit of 25% reserves the date. If the date is later rescheduled, the deposit will be applied to the new date.
