Novel Photographie
I am Melissa Gysen - the wife of a soldier, mother to three, and a photographer. I grew up in a small town in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but after marrying my husband, his career took us all over the United States. The Army has relocated us for the fourth time to Fort Bragg, NC.
Photography started as a creative outlet, but soon morphed into something more. I began to photograph what I called 'the beautiful mundane' of our family and started to see art and nostalgia in just our everyday. I love what I do - blending the heart and emotion of family into beautifully artful images! My photography celebrates the beauty of life and relationships.
