Mauricio Candela is an award-winning commercial photographer and director based in Miami, specializing in lifestyle, celebrity, sports, and conceptual advertising photography. With a background as an art director and creative director at leading U.S. advertising agencies, he brings a rare dual perspective to every production — the strategic mind of an advertiser and the creative eye of a photographer who genuinely loves people and bold ideas.
Born in Colombia and based in the United States, Mauricio has spent decades producing high-impact campaigns for some of the world's most recognized brands, including PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Ford, Heineken, Budweiser, Smirnoff, Sprite, and Aperol — in collaboration with global agencies such as VML, DDB, Ogilvy, McCann, and Zubi Advertising.
