I'm Maija Martin, a brand photographer and educator based in Chicago. I work with entrepreneurs, creatives, consultants, and service providers whose businesses are personal because they are the brand.
My background is in art and people. I've been an educator since 2003, which means I've spent over two decades figuring out how to help humans actually see themselves clearly and show up with confidence. Turns out that translates pretty well to a camera.
Every session I run is lifestyle-based and individually strategized. Nothing about your session looks like anyone else's, because you're not anyone else. I'm not here to pose you into a template or hand you a generic shot list. I'm here to help you look like yourself, on purpose, in a way that makes the right people stop scrolling.
I also run phone photography workshops for teams and individuals who want to stop apologizing for their content and start making images they're actually proud of. No fancy equipment required. Just good fundamentals and a little permission to trust your eye.
