I’m Lily Plouvier (Liciane Plouvier), a photographer, visual artist, and writer based in The Woodlands, Texas, serving Montgomery County and Greater Houston.

I am the founder of Plouvier Art, a photography studio built around a simple idea: an image should do more than look beautiful — it should communicate something meaningful about the person, family, or brand being photographed.

My work brings together fine art portraiture, editorial photography, and visual communication. I photograph families and personal milestones, professionals and executives, growing businesses, events, and editorial stories, approaching each assignment with the same attention to intention, composition, light, and human connection.

Portrait Photography

For individuals and families, I create guided, refined portraits designed to preserve both presence and connection. Sessions include artistic direction throughout the process, from preparation and wardrobe guidance to posing, lighting, and final image selection.

Editorial, Writing & Fine Art

My work extends beyond commissioned photography.

I photograph and write editorial stories about families, entrepreneurs, artists, community leaders, and organizations, and I contribute to publications in the United States and Brazil.

As a visual artist, I also maintain an active fine art practice, with work exhibited in juried exhibitions and recognized through photographic competitions. My interest in perception, visual culture, and the way people interpret images influences both my artistic and commercial work.

That combination of photography, editorial storytelling, and visual strategy has become an important part of the Plouvier Art approach: understanding not only how an image looks, but what it communicates and how it is experienced.

Originally working internationally before establishing Plouvier Art in Texas, I now serve clients throughout The Woodlands, Montgomery, Conroe, Lake Conroe, Magnolia, Spring, and Greater Houston.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and continue to work across photography, visual art, editorial storytelling, and visual communication.
