Studio 513

My passion for photography emerged long before I realized it myself. As a kid, I was constantly recreating my surroundings through drawings. Later as I became familiar with cameras, I got into videography. Creating my artistic vision of moments was fascinating to me. Fast forward to college. I went to LSU to study architecture and eventually pivoted into Civil engineering. Once again driven by my love of creation. I've been a lifelong creator at heart. However, it wasn't until 2021, when my daughter was born, that my passion for capturing life's moments was realized. Capturing those fleeting moments of infanthood brought my wife and me so much joy. So many nights, we looked back through photos, reminisced on the past, and enjoyed the moments again. At that moment, I realized I wanted to give this gift to others; thus, Studio 513 was born.

Why the name studio 513? My daughter's birthday is May 13(5/13). Ephesians 5:13 says, "But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.". As her father, I strive to be her light every day, and I hope that here at Studio 513, we can do the same for you.
