Focal Existence

I've been involved in photography since the late 1980s, originally as a hobbyist, then taking the field more and more seriously as time progressed. After starting my own business in the mid-1990s, photography rapidly became a part of my client services alongside programming and graphic design, and by the early 2000s, it was the primary focus of the company: weddings and portraits with a penchant for on-location services were my mainstays, with a generous amount of sports photography and other event coverage thrown in. While still working my landscape and panoramic artwork, I closed that business and returned to corporate America for nearly a decade to work on earning retirement, but have recently decided to come back to the field I love. Under "Focal Existence", I offer a broad array of event and documentary coverage, natural-light portraiture, and on-location portraiture using techniques which include full-spectrum capture, focus stacking, and high dynamic range.
