My name is Jeanine Cummins, and I am a freelance photographer. I grew up in New York City, lived in New England, and now live in Maryland, between Baltimore and the District of Columbia. My interests are varied, but I like photojournalism, street, and event photography. I grew up seeing photojournalistic photography that shaped the country and the world, along with family photographs that told me stories of my past. I am primarily self-taught, but I have taken classes in photography and studied books, magazines, and the work of various photographers.
