My mom owned a photography business when I was growing up, and I began helping her pose clients and
thinking of creative photo ideas from a young age. When she retired, I took over her camera gear and found my own love
for the art.
After earning a degree in Public Relations from The University of Alabama, I built a career in marketing and
communications. I now serve as the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the City of Cookeville Leisure
Services where I get to photograph and market some of Cookeville's most beloved events.
I married my incredible husband, Kalvyn, in February. Our own wedding experience made me fall in love with the
wedding world and inspired me to step into it as a photographer.
I love love, and that’s why capturing couples and their memories has become such a meaningful part of what I do.
When I’m not photographing, I’m probably spending time with Kalvyn and our dog Mako, drinking too much coffee,
reading a good book, or watching Gilmore Girls…again.
