I started shooting photographs when I was fifteen years old. My parents got me a 35mm Minolta camera as a gift. The best Chistmas present ever! I fell in love with my brand new camera "in a flash." Family was my favorite subject. The emotions that I captured made me realize that I loved happy people, and happy experiences. I wanted to capture people!

As of today I'm a portrait, commercial, modeling, and social events photographer who opened a studio in Ensenada, Mexico in 1989. I have a degree as an Agricultural Engineer from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey - Campus Ciudad Obregón, Sonora.

From the start of my photography career, I collaborated in the Photography Workshops of the University of Baja California Extension Center - Campus Ensenada and Clavijo Model Agency.

I did some individual photography exhibitions as: "Fotoseptembre" and "Espuma en el Centro de la Rosa". Other outstanding collective exhibitions were: Anniversary Exhibition of Ensenada City Gallery, First Photography Festival of Baja California, and Ensenada Photographers at CECUT, Tijuana. Awards Won: Digital Composition - San Diego Fair, Baja California's Biennial Universitaria; National Black and White Photography Contest by Kodak Mexicana, and Inter-CETYS Cultural. Also, selected in several Photography Biennials of Baja California.

I was a professor of Photography at CETYS High School and Centro Universitario de Tijuana - Campus Ensenada. Host of Photography TV Show Estudio EFE in Ensenada and cameraman for Piloteando, Behind The Wheel TV show in Los Angeles, CA. My work has been published in: The Association of Ensenada Journalists, the Baja California Image Book by the State Government and multiple specialized publications in Fashion, Weddings and Quinceañeras.

After more than 500 weddings, quinceañeras/sweet sixteens, portrait sessions later, I'm still in love with what I do for a living.

I am passionate about the sport of baseball, cycling, and I'm always planning the next adventure to enjoy with my wife and daughters.
