It all started with a little yellow 110mm camera.
I'd ride my bike to K-Mart to get the pictures developed. K-Mart had Kodak and, well, Kodak had the best color. I'd pry open the flap on the back of that thick golden envelope, fingers crossed, and find a flower, a bug, my friend's face. It was all so exciting, so suspenseful, the waiting and hoping and dreaming of what might come from the quick click of the shutter.
Eventually, I graduated to using my mom's manual Minolta, and I shoot with dual mirrorless Nikon camera bodies now. I'm still obsessed with rich, film-like color.
I was born & raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina & am now raising a family of my own outside Hendersonville, NC. I offer both photography and videography services for weddings, families, headshots, portraits, and even pets.
