Hi!

I’m Grant Shipley, owner and lead photographer at Vulcan Photography LLC. I run this business with the help of my beautiful wife (Sarah) and our youngest daughter (Madison). We are located just south of Birmingham, in Indian Springs Village, a beautiful and quaint little town in Shelby County. Our main focus areas are real estate, product, and portrait photography.

We prefer to shoot at our client’s favorite locations, but we have a small studio set up at home, if needed. Shooting on location lets our clients be in their chosen environment, and that lets us bring a little more of their personality into each shot. This is true both for portraits and products. Being able to see an image of your dish in the kitchen where it was created or at the table where it’s served definitely adds to the wow factor. Along those same lines, having your headshot in front of your office or family photos at a place you enjoy adds a little extra life to the shot.

On the real estate side, we strive to be a one-stop shop offering high-quality photos, drone shots, and 3-D tours. MLS photos are the first impression home buyers have of your listing, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly! Our goal is to provide a product where each image can stand on its own as an example of our work, regardless of home size, price, or location.
