Emily John Photography

I primarily work on the business side of photography doing Headshots and a Headshot Studio for Twin Cities businesses. My studio in lovely Downtown Excelsior offers easy online scheduled headshot sessions. I also work with local builders and designers offering Architectural Photography. When I'm not working in the business space, I love photographing a handful of high school seniors and dogs, creating beautiful artwork for the home.

It is my belief that every single person who comes to me is beautiful and is worthy of being celebrated. No matter your age, size, shape, or how uncomfortable you might feel about it, I will help you shine. Each session with me is a collaborative, creative project where you will feel comfortable and confident being yourself and having fun.

I live in Minnetonka, MN with my husband Brian, our boys Wally (14) and Arthur (12), fancy-cat Herbie, and golden retriever Tillie. We are your typically busy family with nights and weekends spent driving to sports, scouts, robotics tournaments, doing house projects, and traveling the midwest and abroad. In 2021 we spend a month in Munich, Germany – a huge bucket list item we worked hard to create!
