Hello! My name is Duv Cardenas (first name pronounced "Dove" like the bird). I'm based out Amador County, about 45 miles southeast of Sacramento, California. I have a deep love of photographing motion and authentic emotion; especially what might be missed because it's fleeting, fast, or attention is elsewhere. I'm also drawn to incredible landscapes, beautiful skies, and rich colors, and this offers a backdrop to my photography. There's little I love more than having a spectacular scene and photographing a human or horse in it.
While I enjoy photographing a wide range of subjects, the scope of my work for hire includes:
• Equine competitions, equine portraits, and Western lifestyle
• Sports photography, including action and motorsports
• Second or Associate Photographer for wedding, event, sports, and equine photographers
Sacramento, San Joaquin, El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, and Alpine counties are my normal service area, but I will travel throughout Northern California and Nevada for select events.
