Doug Dienelt Photography

I’m a Chicagoland photographer located in Bartlett Illinois. My name is Doug and I am the owner and lead photograhper.
I’ve had a unique path to what has led up to today. I’ve always loved photography. I enjoy working in unique tech-based roles and it all started when I began to volunteer at our local church on the production team in elementary school. I quickly ran through the ranks and began running the sound board and was heavily involved with the large church. This was the start of a long career touring the country as a tech running equipment for large corporate events and concerts.
In 2015, I began to explore a compressed passion, photography. By 2019 I had evolved in photography and worked (still do) steadily in commercial product photography. This involves very technical lighting and techniques.
My daughter, Samantha is a dancer and after experiencing picture day from a parent point of view, I knew I could do this and better. I wanted to make it more relaxing, fun and have the very best photos using my skills learned by my experience from product photography and my audio visual background.
As I began to work with a dance school, I recieved many praises from the owners, parents and dancers, which fueled my fire to expand and offer my skills to additional dance schools. Using my creative eye, calm demeanor and patience during picture day and after, it was a recipie for an overall great picture day. I then assembled a small team of family and friends to help on picture days and began my company.
My wife Jen, is a local early childhood educator of 16 years and has been brought on to help support and grow the family business. We are fully dedicated to you and your needs within picture day and beyond. We volunteer many hours personally and as a company for churches and non-profit groups.
