I was a hobbyist photographer my whole life, started with film and transitioned to digital in 2009. In 2011 I decided to become more serious and joined PPA. My growth as a photographer grew rapidly from that point and my network also expanded. In 2020, I earned my Certified Professional Photographer designation from the Professional Photographers of America, then my Master Photographer degree is 2022..
I am currently on the Dallas PPA Board of Directors, as their Director of Membership.
I consider myself a generalist as far as the particular type of photography I pursue because I have shot just about everything, food, weddings, commercial, sports, senior portraits, bar mitzvahs, real estate, families, events, etc. You name it, I have most likely shot it. I love the challenge, or as I call it, the "MacGyver" aspect of day to day photography. Even though it can sometimes be a bit scary going into some situations, not completely sure what the job requires, but I am very confident in my skills to deliver the job for the client.
We recently moved to a new house that has a garage that I can dedicate to a studio so more studio work will be in my near future.
