I got my first point-and-shoot camera when I was in elementary school. I started taking photos when I went on my grandmother's Super Senior trips from her church and family trips. In middle school, I put my hobby on hold to focus on my studies, and graduated from high school in 2000.
It wasn't until the pandemic in 2020, when my job at a local restaurant was placed on hold due to the Oregon lockdown, that I took this opportunity to get back into photography.
I'm studying photography online at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Oregon Professional Photographers of America (OPPA) and am currently working towards my PPA certification.
