Hi, my name is Cindy Karchner. I am a fine art photographer with a focus on capturing nature in its many forms, whether it be a macro look at flowers, a breathtaking landscape or an abstract interpretation. I also love capturing expressive portraits and the female form. My focus is finding the beauty of a moment, relationships, a feeling, and incorporating natural elements, motion and movement into my work. I am a voracious and passionate learner, always acquiring new skills and techniques and working to master them through observation and practice. My wish is that my work stirs something in you as it did for me when I captured or created it.

A Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) with Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I am driven to continue honing my craft and learning new techniques to execute my creative vision. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA where I studied photography, print making, painting and illustration. I am a member of the Lehigh Valley Photography Club, the Lehigh Art Alliance, the Southeast Center for Photography, the Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

I absolutely love creating and supporting other female artists! I am a member of Women's Collaborative - Art of the Woman, which hosts women's photography events in unique locations several times per year in Northeast, PA, USA. We are a group of confident and creative women artists, models and photographers of diverse styles, persuasions and backgrounds. We are eager to collaborate and express ourselves through our art.
