Pailas Media Photography LLC
Hi my name is Chris Pailas, and I don't have a studio of any sort! I'm a photographer that specializes in corporate and nonprofit events, and am based in Morris County New Jersey. I travel for all of my jobs, which also include team or volume headshots for large organizations. I'm moving to Central Jersey (Somerset County) at the end of this summer, that being 2026, and am thrilled to be entering my second year as a full time event photographer in the industry. To brush up on my skills, I'm also completing my exams this year to become professionally certified.
For me, photography started as purely a passion project my freshman year of college. I originally had no plans to make it a career, as I wanted to be a mechanical or aerospace engineer for a lot of my time growing up. I've always enjoyed problem solving. During college however, I took a few classes, and met some life changing people along the way, and over time, my life began to change. And I felt it. So I fully embraced it!
In terms of my style of work, I would best describe it as more candid focused, only posing when necessary. Part of who I've become over my four years or so freelancing, and then full year into the industry, has been seeing life as it is. Though I poke at it when I feel it is necessary. So I apply this to my jobs. More shown below!
