I studied both studio and art photography at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design graduating with a BA in Visual Communications. As an avid upland bird hunter and amateur field trial competitor, I have traveled across the country for the past nearly 20 years photographing bird dogs (pointers and English setters) in wild bird habitats from Idaho to Texas, Northern Maine to Southwest Georgia where I have lived for the past 7 years...in the heart of Bobwhite quail country! I have captured and documented the sport of bird dog field trials in as many locals, but primarily wild bird field trials on the prairies and in the southeast. I photograph portraits of bird dogs, kids with dogs and horses and youth trials as well as the many landscapes my travels take me to.
