We are Carla and Michelle Alicea, the dedicated duo behind Alicea Studio. As partners in business and life, we’re proud to deliver artistry and vision to San Antonio clients in need of next-level photography. Our professional journey began in Los Angeles, where Michelle studied Cinema-Television and Carla sat behind the lens as a busy wedding photographer. Over 2 decades, we extended our expertise to include corporate marketing, and individually helped brand and promote two major California-based property management companies.

We loved the experience but longed to develop a venture of our own where success was not measured on spreadsheets. Instead, we set our sights on our passion for photography and film, and our hope to foster deeper community connections. We believe that art and expression are the essence of freedom; giving back moves us forward; and love is simply love. To start anew and make it all happen, we left Los Angeles and moved to the great state of Texas.

Now settled in San Antonio, we are immersed in the culture, aspirations, and meaningful causes of our new hometown. We are proud supporters of creative spaces of all kinds that welcome members of the community without judgment. In other words, we’re ready to capture your good vibes…and spread a few of our own.

What is the starting price for your photography services?
Headshots start at $175, Real Estate Packages start at $475, Newborn, Maternity, and Family sessions start at $325, and event coverage stats at $275.

The session fee and a select number of digital edits and downloads.

A select number of digital downloads are included with each package. Prints, wall art, and cards are available to order online.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes, we offer a select number with each package, plus additional downloads/edits are available at an affordable per image rate.
Can you walk me through your process?
After your session, previews of your images will be loaded to your client gallery within 72 hours for your review. Choose up to five of your favorite images for advanced photo editing. Your final selections will then be available to print, share, or download within 10 days.
Do you offer a pre-session consultation?
Yes, capturing your vibe is important to us! And nothing defines you vibe better than a per-session style consultation.
Will you help style me?
Yes! We'll make recommendations on wardrobe, hair, make up, and location that match the vibe your aiming for.
Do you have a studio?
Yes, In-studio sessions can be scheduled anytime between 11 am and 7 pm. Newborn sessions and headshots are held in a small studio space on the Far West Side. For more extensive studio sessions, we utilize a larger space by the San Antonio International Airport.
What is your cancellation policy?
Unless Alicea Studio is able to fully replace the canceled reservation, all sitting fees and retainers are non-refundable.
