For over two decades, I have been deeply engaged in documenting the visual narrative of the Rust Belt, focusing on everyday life in and around Cleveland through both personal and professional photography. My photojournalistic style has chronicled the city’s transformation over the past fifteen years, especially during its significant resurgence. From 2010 to 2024, I served as the managing photographer for FreshWater Cleveland, illustrating articles on arts and culture, diversity and inclusion, local entrepreneurs, neighborhoods, and various events. My photography during this time earned several Press Club of Cleveland All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards over the last three years. While I am no longer with FreshWater, I am actively seeking new opportunities to utilize my skills and experience as a photographer.
Beyond photojournalism, my freelance work includes covering events such as expos, dance, music, theater, and corporate functions. I also specialize in environmental portraits and architectural/real estate photography. I am proud to serve as the official photographer for LAND studio and Holden Arboretum/Cleveland Botanical Garden, The Nature Center at Shaker Lake and LatinUs Theater. I have also collaborated with organizations such as MorrisonDance, Mamaí Theatre Company, Destination Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation, Playhouse Square, MetroHealth, Medical Mutual and other organizations in the Cleveland/NEO area. My strength lies in bringing events, performances, and stories to life through my lens, always capturing the essence and key moments that make each subject unique.
