Biz Kellam "Capture Life"

I’m Biz Kellam, a professional photographer in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, creating photographs that help people stand out, be remembered, and leave something meaningful behind.

I photograph professionals, businesses, families, and generations throughout Oʻahu. That may mean creating a headshot that strengthens a first impression, building a visual image library for a business, photographing a team with consistency and personality, or creating family portraits that become part of a family’s legacy.

My clients are never expected to show up knowing how to pose or “work the camera.” I guide expression, posture, body language, wardrobe, and every important detail so the experience feels comfortable and the final images look polished, confident, and unmistakably like you.

For business clients, the photographs need to work. They should build trust, strengthen visibility, and support the way you market yourself. For families, the photographs should live beyond a screen as heirloom wall art and legacy albums that become more meaningful with time.

I create photographs that open doors and preserve legacies.

Yes. Professionally edited digital images are available with headshot, branding, commercial, and select portrait purchases. Availability and usage depend on the session and collection selected.
We begin with a personal consultation to define your goals, style, wardrobe, location, and how the photographs will be used. Once your session is reserved, I guide you through preparation, direct you throughout the photography experience, professionally edit the final images, and help you select the photographs and finished products that best fit your needs. After delivery, clients may continue through my Annual Membership Program, which supports ongoing portrait needs and my Visual Marketing Strategy program with fresh, purposeful imagery created throughout the year for websites, social media, campaigns, speaking, press, and other marketing opportunities.
Yes. Every session begins with a personal consultation to discuss your goals, how the photographs will be used, wardrobe, styling, location, and the overall look we want to create.
Yes. Wardrobe guidance is included as part of your pre-session consultation, so we can choose clothing, colors, and styling that photograph well and support the look you want to create. Professional hair and makeup may also be added when available. The artist is booked separately, paid directly, and will contact you to discuss the details.
I primarily photograph on location throughout Oʻahu, bringing professional lighting and equipment to offices, homes, hotels, outdoor locations, and other suitable spaces. Studio space may be arranged when the session calls for it.
Session retainers are non-refundable. With at least 48 hours written notice, the retainer may be transferred to one new session date within the same calendar year. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours’ notice requires a $150 rescheduling fee. Cancellations, rescheduling requests, or no-shows within 24 hours of the session result in forfeiture of the retainer. Clients must arrive on time and ready to begin. Late arrival reduces the available session time. If a client is more than 15 minutes late without contacting me, I am not obligated to remain, the session may be treated as a no-show, and all retainer fees are forfeited. No partial refunds or compensation are provided for missed or reduced session time. Full terms are stated in the signed photography agreement.
