My WHY

Shared human experience is so powerful. Much of my childhood is filled with wonderful memories. But also, there are things that the little girl in me never got to have or experience. For a long time I let those big empties hurt my heart. I suppose we all do that. But I do what I do because it gives me joy. Capturing the lives of families balances something in me. I get to be a witness to their joy, their “mess”, their happy times, and even their rough times if they will let me. It fills spaces in my heart to see them living in fullness while knowing they have struggles too. This is what makes life so beautiful and gives me so much joy to witness the honesty of my clients’ lives.
