I love life, and photography allows me to celebrate the people, places and events in front of my camera. Whether I'm on a college campus, documenting student life, or standing on a ladder to capture a bat mitzvah girl hoisted into the air as family and friends dance the hora, I'm capturing authentic, joyful moments and relationships that mean something to my clients.
Before starting my own business in 2008, I spent 22 years as an award-winning photojournalist for the Hartford Courant, seeking out the extraordinary in the ordinary in people and places across Connecticut. My assignments took me nationally and internationally, but my greatest joys came from telling simple stories closer to home.
The photojournalistic skills honed during my years at the newspaper serve me well as I now document life celebrations (bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings) and help visually tell stories for schools, non profits, universities and small businesses.
I love people. I love stories. Let me tell yours.
