Mary B. Photography & Design
Mary A. Brown, simply known as Mary B., is the proprietor of Mary B. Photography and Design. As a 20-year veteran of design and photography, Mary B. has photographed numerous celebrities including super models Tyson Beckford and Naomi Campbell, and rapper/mogul Curtis “50 Cents" Jackson. As a previous art director and designer at Black Enterprise magazine, she has managed hundreds of cover photo shoots including those of Oprah Winfrey, tennis pro Venus Williams and Bishop TD Jakes.
In 2011, Mary B. began dedicating her skills and talents to capturing the enjoyable moments of everyday life, making all of her subjects feel like celebrities.
Working as a freelance photographer she has covered President Baraka Obama, Rev. Jesse Jackson and Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka. Aside from Black Enterprise Magazine, her work as been published in Wine & Spirits magazine and Jet magazine.
