Celebrate Life! Is not just a motto we’ve had for decades, but an action I believe in. What do you want to celebrate? Whom do you want to celebrate and be grateful for? I am grateful for my husband, son, parents, pets, and friends! Photography helps us capture those people and moments. It is a privilege for me to participate in helping families keep those moments timeless.

I continued the legacy of VanDeusen Photography , opened in 1968 by Delorios VanDeusen, then my father, Paul F McMillian took over the business in 1978. In 2012, my vision was for intimate boutique photography business focusing on beautiful photography and wonderful customer service. I provides timeless family, children, baby, pet and HS senior portraiture, as well as personal branding and events photography. I can be commissioned for masterpiece paintings and copy & restoration work on old or damaged photos.

I am a member of Missouri Professional Photographers of America and National Professional Photographers of America where she earned her Masters of Photography. Awards from Professional Photographers Association of Greater Kansas City include: First Place Wedding Album (non-master), First & Second Place Wedding Image, Best of Show, First Timers Award, and Top Ten Photographer’s Award several times. In Missouri PPA, she earned two Second Place Wedding Images, First Place Pet Portrait, and First and Third Place Illustrative. As well as, four Loan Collection prints chosen by the National PPA to travel internationally and published in the Loan Collection Book along with two images for publication in the General Book.
I currently works from her home in the Lakewood community of Lee’s Summit and made the world her studio.
