Elaine Freitas Photography
My name is Elaine Freitas and I am a photographer specializing in Maternity, Birth, Newborn and Women, based in Acton, Mass. I have been a photographer for over 10 years, but my passion for photography began as a teenager living in Brazil, where I was born and raised. I was always fascinated with cameras and beautiful photos and back then, the only way to cherish the pictures we would take was by printing them. Nowadays, people more frequently have pictures on their phones, which they tend to forget about unless they print them. I believe that by having printed images, not only will you always have them to look at, but you will appreciate the pictures more.
After several years of doing photography as a hobby, I realized I had a talent for capturing moments in time that would impact people’s lives. I became a photographer so I could eternalize these special moments through pictures.
Since starting my career as a photographer, I have specialized in Maternity and Newborn photography, as well as Wedding and Portrait photography. Through the many classes I have attended, I have perfected my craft as an artist. I continue to take classes to keep my skills updated and because there is always more to learn. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) as well as the Professional Photographer Association of Massachusetts (PPAM).
I have a home studio in Acton, where I have designed a special place so moms and newborns can feel safe and comfortable while having their portraits taken. I also go on location throughout the metrowest area.
