I was born in the UK and lived in Germany for 28 years until I emigrated to the US in 2001. After 13 years in Sarasota I became a proud U.S. citizen in February 2014.
I’m a professional event, performance and headshot photographer..
2013: Published a book of photos - “Walkabout Europe - from my extensive European travel. In the summer of 2013 - a whirlwind "walkabout" of Europe. Over the course of a 53-day period, I visited 22 towns and cities in 15 countries.
2014: I spent 3 months covering the entire continent of Australia and New Zealand.
2015: National Geographic Expedition to visit the island of Cuba, and flew to China, Tibet and Hong Kong to diversify my portfolio.
2016: "Headshot Intensive" and "Illuminating The Face" with Peter Hurley, as well as National Geographic's "Advanced Photo Workshop - New York City" with Joe McNally. I also visited The Pacific Northwest, Bermuda, New York and New England and completed a portraiture course in North Carolina with Nikon Ambassador Tamara Lackey.
2017: "Dance & Performance Photography Workshop" in New Orleans with Zack Smith Photography, and accompanied Circus Sarasota & Sailor Circus to Washington D.C. for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival,
2018: Iceland, landscape photography workshop with Dan Ballard Photography. On completion I flew to Bergen in Norway and spent a couple of weeks wandering Scandinavia.
Also a Fashion Photography Intensive Workshop with Lindsay Adler in NYC.
June 2019: Wildlife Safari with BackcountryJourneys.com to Yellowstone National Park
September 2019: Portrait Masters Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
December 2019: Antartica/Patagonia/Buenos Aires with Muench Workshops.
